I got a appointment order from axis oil and gas-uk, they require me to pay 650 british pounds for affidavit of guarantee from british high court and for further process of visa.

Did you ever apply for anything from them? No? Never believe any site which asks for money upfront. It’s a scam. Ignore it.

Are windmills cheaper than burning coal, natural gas, etc. for US utilities?

If so, why do utilities keep destroying their profits by avoiding switching to cheaper wind for all future energy growth?

Don’t CEOs of utility plants like to get richer?

No.

Wind turbines are not cheaper than burning coal or natural gas.

Although the Leftists say that wind is free, the Leftists ignore the fact that the Money that is required to build the Wind Turbines and install and operate and maintain the wind turbines is not free.

Also wind turbines only produce electricity when the wind blows.

When the wind does not blow, you do not get any electricity.

Wind turbines are great publicity for the Utilities to say they are "green" because they get some of their electricity from wind turbines, however wind turbines are not dependable and they are not cost effective.

How much is the typical utility bill for a warehouse in California?

Does anyone know what is a typical utility cost for a warehouse in Northern California (Bay Area)?
We are looking to get a 20,000 sqft warehouse that will operate for 12-15 hours a day.
Main utility usage includes lighting and heating. It will also include a kitchenette with refrigerator and some appliances. There is no heavy machinery or massive electrical appliances/equipments.

Thanks.

5-700$ depends on if all lighting is usd and what kind

How can I get cheaper gas and electricity?

My gas and electricity bills are going thorugh the roof. I need urgent advise on who to appraoch for help. Presently with British Gas for both.

Whichever gas company you’re with, the prices are unlikely to be vastly different, but you could look in the Yellow Pages and call around different companies to get specific prices.

Your best way to reduce your bills, though, would be to use less. There are lots of simple conservation tricks you can use – saving small amounts here are there can really add up.
– Make sure you have good insulation. If you’re in a house, putting an extra layer of insulation in the loft space makes a huge difference and is not expensive. On a smaller scale, make sure that you have good seals around your doors and windows. Use draft excluders, if necessary.
– Turn off lights when you’re not using them. Switch to high-efficiency bulbs. They cost a lot more in the short term, but they make a huge difference to your electricity consumption.
– Make sure your fridge has good seals around it, so you’re not paying to cool your kitchen!
– Only put the amount of water you need into the kettle. You’ll get your cuppa faster, too.

Those are just a few things. I don’t live in England any more, but there may be grants available to offset the cost of making your home more energy-efficient. It will increase the value of your home, too. In the meantime, start with the little things and you’ll see some improvements in your bills.

Which is better: More expensive rent with utilities included, or cheaper rent with fewer utilities included?

My fiance and I are going to be shopping soon for an apartment/duplex/townhouse etc. to share for the first time, and I was just curious about which offer would be better. If you have personal experience with this, I would love to hear pros and cons or whatever information you would like to bring to this issue. Thanks!
Please stick to the question that I am actually asking here. Thanks.

It’d be better to get married, then buy a place. Especially in the housing market today.

Statistically, it’s proven that the divorce rate is actually higher among couples who co-habitate. If you love your fiancee you’ll get married first.

Has anyone had any problems with utility warehouse?

I have been with them since june, their service was apalling, tried to move away to British Gas and they stopped my move, saying I had to call them first, but to call them is a premium rate number with an 18 minute wait.

Hi – yep. Ongoing since September. Signed up as a customer on the promise of cheaper telephone and energy bills. Telephone perhaps slightly cheaper than previous provider due to UW’s cheaper ‘add-ons’ (talk unlimited etc). As for energy – forget it. Told they would be cheaper than BG for both Gas and Electric. Now being charged 4x the amount I was paying prior to joining as a customer. Communicating via email and costs of calls too great now as they keep you hanging on and won’t call you back.
Thanks for posting this question.

Is prepaid electricity and gas cheaper cheaper than contract bills?

No, it is the most expensive way of paying for gas and electricity.
