How do I use Yahoo! Answers now I’m not with BT?

I am moving away from BT. That means I shall no longer have my calls with BT nor will I have my Broadband.

I am moving and have now got a new email address with Utility Warehouse.

However, I have always been very active with Yahoo! Answers and wish to continue using the facility if possible.

I have tried adding my new email address but the system will not allow me to validate it for some reason.

Its not easy to change your email address. I need to to this so that any response I get from Answers appears in my Inbox.

I would have hoped that I could have amended my email address and continued with the same account. If I set up up as a new user, I will end up losing all of my earned points.

Can anyone help me out?
OK thanks for the answers so far!

I have had to log in to my BT Yahoo to see the responses that you all sent me.

What I want to be able to do is pick up the response notifications in my new Inbox using my new provider, without having to keep going back into Yahoo.

Can I do that or not?

i dunno how to do what your attempting, but your hardly up there in points, and at a level 2… i don’t see starting a new account as being a big deal here dude…

Cost of building a business warehouse in Mexico and the monthly cost of utilities?

Need it for a project, so I just need a feasible estimate and source if possible. Thanks.

What size of a building, what size of a land?? What city, town?? Do you want it on a downtown or a country zone?? What are you going to store?? Vegetables, weed or computer hardware???
Here in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon:
For a basic shell building, already constructed at the outskirts the city 5500 sqft warehouse, 800sqft office, a monthly rental would be around 2300 usd. For a basic lighting for warehouse and offices, electric would be around 200 usd/month, water and sewage are just a few bucks if it’s just for restrooms; phone and internet would depend on use.
Here, some things cost almost the same as in the states, that’s the case for construction materials, don’t be fooled; labor is cheap but won’t be a great saving on the building.

To own and build a same size of a building as the example, I would figure, the land somewhere around 60,000 and to build the warehouse 20some ft height… something no less than 30,000 usd
Just guessing, need more info.

changed our isp 2 days ago and its all gone bad?

i was with bt to start with and a few weeks ago a salesman got my mom to switch to them… "the utility warehouse" they switched us over 2 days ago and i have installed their new router and the problems keep coming that wasn’t there when we was with bt. every time someone picks the phone up the internet goes off, and the noise on the line is unbelievable, there is only one phone point in our house and that’s the main one like i say the only thing i have changed is the modem they sent us and this is what is happening, someone please help

You need filters fitted on all phone connections, so that you can use the internet without interrupting phone calls.

Connecting to Belkin Wireless Router HELP!!!!?

my dad has changed internet providers, we are now with ‘The Utility Warehouse’ but i cant connect my computer & iPod touch gen2 to the wireless Belkin ADSL modem, i can find it, it comes up but doesnt work & keeps asking for a password, we have tried every thing. when ever you go on it down here (main family computer) you have to add the connections again, at the mo im on ‘Connection 6′

any help/advice, thankyou so much xx
Main famly Pc is windows vista
&&
Mine is windows XP
We have had everything connected with the last provider, but it wont work now.

When you install the Belkin Wireless Router, you need to select your internet provider or put in the correct settings for them, which differ between different providers. It might have something set wrong, because you changed providers.

Usually if something is set wrong, it won’t work at all though, wireless or wired. But you can always see if you can find out the Install CD and reinstall it to check.

Who is the best ISP for high internet usage/gaming?

I have been using an ISP called Utility Warehouse which provides internet for about £15 pm. Recently, I have been having times where the internet disconnects from around 10-11pm, and only reconnects in the morning (this has nothing to do with my router). It is meant to give us up to 24 MB but maybe I am on a different plan, as I only get 8 MB. By the way, I am about 5 minutes away from the exchange. I wanted to know what is the best ISP for gaming and heavy internet usage, including video streaming and p2p downloading. It has to be quite cheap, and I don’t mind if it is a small company, as long as I get good internet. I also saw that BT is giving a free HomeHub thing, with unlimited internet and high speed internet for £24.46.
Thanks
Lyall
You may have guessed this, but I need to have a really low ping for my gaming, or I start losing due to jittery internet, and the other person sees me first.
Unfortunately, Haverhill, where I live, does not have cable, so that is not an option. Our Exchange is somewhere in town about 5 minutes away, but they have limited internet options. I can give details on the services that it supplies if needed
These are my ISP’s details:

There’s nowt much wrong with the speeds your getting but the loss of connection is weak. That shouldnt happen.
If you live in an area that has access to cable, go for that option. Virgin is starting to roll out a quite rapid fibre optic network…

I inherited a 6 BR home with an attached warehouse in Mexico with my brother. I want to sell and he doesn’t.?

He has been living in the house for 3 years. He was working towards his graduate degree when my mother passed away so he was able to move down there to "take care of business". He was appointed executor of the will, and the will simply stated that all assets were to be divided equally. I live in the USA with my husband and daughter and have no intention of moving to Mexico. I was able to travel to care of expenses and paperwork to close the estate. I do like to travel to Mexico once a year for about a week to visit family. My brother had started out "taking care of the house" while we decided what to do. After 3 months I decided it is not in my best interest to have a large house in Mexico that I will only see one week a year, so I decided I want to either sell my half of the house to my brother or sell the house entirely. My brother stated he could not buy me out and does not want to sell it. He wanted to try renting out rooms and the warehouse for income. I agreed to him trying this for 2 years since he did not have a job, then we needed talk again about selling the house. We agreed to split the income of the rentals since the house is in both our names. He has been using the rent money to pay for all the utilities including a house keeper and lawn maintenance man. AFter the expenses is when he thought we should split the income, which was not much. I disagree and do not believe I need to contribute to his personal expenses. I am willing to help out with the cost of the renter’s utilities but it is difficult to figure out exactly how much that would be. i believe he gets the benefit of living in a mortgage free house and use furniture that I have paid half for. In october 2008 he finally agreed to selling the house. At the end of august 2009 we finally got a decent offer considering the economy. We tried to negotiate to get a better price for about a month then after two counteroffers I was agreeable to settling on the buyers price. I let the real estate agent know right away that I was ready to sell and my brother took another week and a half to respond. The real estate agent stated the buyer thought we weren’t going to sell because it took too long and found a different house. He has admitted that he does not want to sell the house but feels forced into the situation because I want to sell. He has not come up with any alternatives such as finding a job and working out a payment plan to buy me out. He recently stated that he does not want the house for himself, he wanted to keep it for both of us a memento of our mom. But he lives there and I can only visit once a year because I work and have a family. I do not have the support of my aunts and uncles to sell because they think the economy is poor and we could get more money later. So in the mean time Should I be contributing to the utilities of the house while we are waiting to sell? What would be fair? He wants to continue renting rooms in the house because this is his only income. I think it is not fair that I work, take care of my daughter (another child is due in april), and try to keep track of the bank balance in Mexico. My brother refuses to let me know how much bills are. I’m in a completely complicated situation and do not know what to do. I try to be confident but my brother tries to make me feel guilty for wanting to sell the house. Please help.
I have talked to my lawyer in Mexico and he has spoken to my brother and knows that he has verbally agreed to sell the house but I have played phone tag with him for a month now regarding the rent issue on what my brother is responsible for as far as house expenses. While it is for sale should I charge him rent? He doen’t have much income and has not found a job, it seems like it is by choice, because I’m sure starbucks or Mcdonalds would hire him, he just hasn’t tried or thinks he is too good for that.

OMG, me and my fiance were just talking about who we should leave our house to ( she has 2 grown boys) one is responsible, the other one not so much. I mentioned to her that there would be some sort of fighting between them , and your story just put it all in perspective. I will sell it before I die….. and spend all the money,LOL

To get back to your dilemma. It is not your problem that he doesn’t have a job and can’t buy you out. I know hes your brother but damn this has been going on for a couple of years now. Its time to sell it.

Seriously, what does he expect you to do,give him the house. I really don’t think hes looking at it from you point of view.

I hate to come across so mean but even family members will take advantage of you, if you let them,GL….I would love to know the outcome of this

Utility Bill in Georgia?

I work for a company is Asia and my company would like to start our business in the United States soon. The initial plan was, to rent a warehouse with a small office in Atlanta, Georgia. (Probably 1400 sq ft.) I have never been to the U.S. so I have no idea about the cost of living there. It would be nice if you could answer my questions.

1) How much will the utility bill cost you for a 1400 sq ft warehouse? (Including water, gas, electricity, phone and internet)
2) How much do you spend a month on gas and food? (If you don’t eat out too often)
3) How much is the medical insurance? (Basic)

i live in atlanta georgia, utilities- if internet and phone are bundled wil run about 1200.00 a month, business license, about 3 to 5 thousand a year, rent on the space would be about 2 to 9 thousand a month depending on location, about 300.00 a month for basic cook at home food- if you eat out triple that amount, insurance very basic – 500.00 deductible will run you about 250.00 a month for 1 person.

What can I do to block a 2 story building that is being built right behind my house?

We just moved into this new neighborhood 10 months ago. Behind us was commercial property with a few 1 story buildings that we could not visibly see from the ground. 4 months into living here, a contractor started breaking ground for what is now going to be a huge 2 story warehouse with the loading dock right at our back fence. The building is set so far back from their road, that their back wall is about 15 feet from our fence! it’s unbelievable how close it is. I blocks about 75% of our view from our patio and is almost taller than the power lines that run across the back of the community. I have a 15 foot utility easement to make things worse. That’s half of my yard! Any ideas of what i could build or plant to help block this horrible view?

Obviously a fence would be impractical and cost prohibitive. But a natural fence, now there’s another idea. Pine trees were suggested, and for the most part, that’s not a bad choice, but they don’t grow too fast, and could potentially take up more of your yard because of the spread when mature.

SO… here are some alternatives. I don’t know what zone you’re in, so take that into consideration as well and do some research.

Canadian Hemlock. You can buy them sort of small, and in just a matter of a few years, you’ll have some very tall, nice looking trees to help block the view, especially if planted close together. A nice natural hedge.

Lombardy Poplar is another ‘popular’ choice (sorry, that’s really a silly pun, couldn’t resist). They are very upright, fast growing trees with a pillar growth habit. By that I mean they don’t have a very wide spread. These trees are planted often for a windbreak.

Arborvitae species. An upright habit, not a wide spread, and make a nice tall hedge over time when planted together.

Holly trees. These like acid soil, and you have to have a male and a female to produce berries. These are evergreen as well. There are taller varieties that make very handsome trees and could produce a very sharp looking hedge.

At any rate, you’re gonna have to put up with the warehouse for awhile until anything grows tall enough to do the job. I’m sorry about that. It really irritates me when business do things like that. Used to be builders were a little more considerate about where they built and whom it would effect.

As an example of this nonesense, there’s a homebuilder in our town that bought several acres of farmland and woods, only to cut down the trees, smooth out the fields and build homes. Thing is, in the year or more since he did this, he’s built one house! And he has the nerve to name the place "Fox Run". Right, not anymore it isn’t.
