I have connected everything up and all the green lights show up as being connected. However when I click on internet it comes as saying Internet Explorer not found. The line is fine as I have tried putting my old modem in and conneced straight away. Can anybody offer me some advice?
My internet provider is Utility Warehouse if it makes any difference, thanks in advance.
Don’t know what your previous setup was but check IE is not using a proxy.
Other than that check in control panel networks section to see if you are actually connected.
I’ve not got a netgear but my router also needed manually setting up via it’s firmware using the browser.
Have you gone to http://192.168.0.1 and checked if you are connected to your line and all is setup correct in there.(if thats the wrong ip, go to command prompt and type ipconfig, check the default gateway ip and type it in browser)
