i changed my supplier to utility warehouse in october 08. now my electricity bills are about £260 each month.. i pay £50 d.d. but they say my meter is correct. i have photoed the meter and shown them it is a lot lower than they say but they don’t do anything.. how on earth can i be using £250-£280 worth of electricity per month.. i live in a two bed terrace.
i would change to a well known major electric supplier like British gas etc, and ask for a Key meter. I have a 3 bed house and have quite a lot of things on standby, and i put £50 on my key every month..
that amount you pay is FAR too high, perhaps start unplugging some things and see if the amount changes, it could be something simple like a cooker ring left on..
Remember to get bank to CANCEL utility warehouse direct debit when you change… good luck
